Laying the Groundwork for Scalable Future Growth

When Ultima Media started to experience performance problems on their current hosting platform they contacted Hydras, part of the Acora group, to discuss the options of migrating it to a higher-performing, scaleable platform that would eliminate the uptime problems they were having as well as allow future growth and expansion.

Building Secure AWS Foundations

Hydras architects worked with the Ultima Media management to discuss the options of moving the systems to the AWS cloud, based on the requirements and budgets that were given, before deciding on a fit-for-purpose solution.

Armed with the architectural blueprint Hydras designed and built the new system with embedded security controls. They then worked with the Ultima Media development team to migrate, test, correct problems and subsequently tune the systems within AWS for optimal performance, along with adding system monitoring and alerting, which would notify the in-house support team.

Ultima Media now has a fit-for-purpose scaleable and secure cloud-based system where potential performance issues are detected, diagnosed and resolved before they cause production issues. The result is a vastly improved uptime and no performance issues.
