As organisations look to modernise their infrastructure, Acora is here to help you bridge the gap between traditional platforms and the cloud.
Our infrastructure teams take on the administration, monitoring and day-to-day operations that can become all-consuming tasks for your IT teams, freeing them to add value in other areas of your business.
At the same time, we can give you a roadmap to move from legacy systems and unlock the right cloud platforms. For Acora, this means leveraging cloud solutions to deliver real value, rather than like-for-like legacy services hosted in the cloud.
Although your infrastructure is all but invisible to the end user, it is the basis on which reliable user experiences are built.
At Acora, we combine digital experience and infrastructure performance data to constantly monitor and improve the user experience – by delivering flawless performance, early detection and resolution of problems, and maximum uptime.
We resolve infrastructure issues before they impact service, using our sophisticated suite of Service Management monitoring platforms, powered by Machine Learning and AI.
Our solutions offer a range of options, including dedicated bare-metal private solutions or data centre hosting in Tier 4 data centres, to meet maximum performance or security requirements.
Modern digital experiences live and die by the network they’re built on. Acora handles all of the complexity, providing optimum connectivity for digital services, offices and employees.

Managed Cloud FAQs
There are advantages and disadvantages to both public and private cloud. The major benefit to Acora’s cloud platform, Acora Private Cloud, is the versatility and flexibility of the services we are able to deliver in our own environment.
• We have less restrictions on requirements, meaning cost can be as flexible as needed to be fit for purpose and meet the objectives of our customers.
• We can be more flexible, design totally bespoke environments, incorporate legacy services that can be limited in a public cloud environment.
• We can wrap the service within our Managed Service capabilities to ensure a more harmonious relationship between you, your environment, and Acora. Ultimately providing a more secure, managed capability, than going to a public cloud.
Public cloud, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud & On-Premise environment
Public cloud platforms are hyperscale environments fully managed by the public cloud provider, enabling any member of the public to subscribe and consume services in a heavily automated and portal-driven fashion. User-friendly, efficient, and evolving services are definitely the way forward.
Private cloud platforms typically leverage the same technology as premise platforms, for example, vSphere virtualisation, but at a greater scale. They mix the convenience of a managed platform with the flexibility of not having to transform your workloads to meet the more stringent requirements of a Public Cloud offering.
On-premise environments, IT infrastructure, hardware, and software applications are typically owned or leased by the business themselves and hosted on-site or in a location. The owners maintain physical control over the server hardware and software
Hybrid cloud platforms are any mixture of public, private, and on-premises services. There is no certain ratio requirement, no specific technology, and no specific combination that your company needs to follow to fall in this category. It merely means your company is currently consuming a mixture of services, which automatically means you are working within a hybrid cloud.
